Tickets for Expo 2020 Dubai will go on sale for the general public in April 2020Business Registration Dubai
Tickets prices have been announced for the six-month Expo 2020 that will begin in Dubai in 2020.
- A single-day ticket for an adult (aged 18 and above) will cost Dhs120, whereas a 3 day pass – which can be used on any three days during the 173 days of the event – will be priced at Dhs260.
- Children aged 5 and younger, as well as seniors aged 65 and older are not required to pay for ticket, they have free entry. People of determination will also be given complimentary access, while their carers will have to pay only half the ticket price.
- People aged 6 to 17 and students of any age will be given 50% discount.
- For international travellers, single-day and three-day tickets will be provided in bundled packages which will be sold by authorized ticket resellers that will start next month.
A ticket will provide access to the programmes – the Expo site is expected to have 60 live shows per day – as well as daily parades and the 200-plus Food &Beverage outlets in the Expo site.
Sanjive Khosla, deputy chief for sales and marketing at Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “With less than 550 days to go before the biggest event ever to be held in the Arab region, excitement is building up fast. We aim to be a World Expo that is accessible to all and we believe the ticket prices and concessions will help us achieve that ambition.”
Sale on Expo Tickets
Tickets will go on sale for the general public in April 2020, while monthly and season passes will be available from the last quarter of 2019.

Gillian Hamburger, senior vice-president for programming at Expo 2020 Dubai mentioned that Expo 2020 will have live events, including parades, performances, global music shows, hands-on workshops and other diverse entertainment for all to enjoy every day.
There will also be celebrations on Expo site on special days such as Diwali, UAE National Day, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year and International Women’s Day.
Expo 2020 Dubai, the first world expo to be held in the MENASA (Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region) is expected to draw 25 million visitors during its 6 month run from October 2020 until April 2021.
